The Trenton district chilled energy system serves approximately 24 buildings in Trenton, NJ. Leased equipment providing chilled water was at the end of its useful life. DCO was retained to design, construct and commission the new 6,000 ton Chiller Plant and a new building to house the plant.
- DCO Energy designed and constructed a 6,000 Ton Refrigeration Chiller Plant at Veolia Energy in Trenton, NJ.
- Tie-ins to existing chilled water supply and return piping.
- Bypass loop on chilled water storage tank that is on the system.
Installation of the new plant increased efficiency and reliability of chilled water production plant by replacing existing chillers. The plant is now owned by Vicinity Energy.
